“Star Trek Into Darkness” actress Alice Eve has jumped aboard Chris Evans’ directorial debut 1:30 TRAIN. She will star alongside Evans in the romantic drama.
The story, reminiscent of Richard Linklater’s “Before Sunrise”, centers on two complete strangers who meet on Manhattan’s 1:30 train headed for Boston and end up spending one crazy night together. Evans will obviously have the male lead, while Eve has nabbed the female lead opposite him. Evans is helming from a script penned by Ron Bass. Evans will also be producing alongside Mark Kassen, Karen Baldwin, Howard Baldwin, Bill Immerman, McG and Mary Viola.
Eve is best known for one of her most recent performance in J.J. Abrams’ “Star Trek Into Darkness.” She has also appeared in Jim Field Smith’s “She’s Out of My League”, David Brooks’ “ATM” and James McTeigue’s “The Raven.” Eve will next be seen in “Decoding Annie Parker”, “Dirty Weekend” and “Some Velvet Morning.”
Eve is repped by UTA.
