Alice Eve has joined BEES MAKE HONEY as both its star and producer. Honey is a British indie written by her brother, Jack Eve, who is also set to direct. Eve is producing through her banner EveXEveXEve with AJ Raich. Steve Clark-Hall will executive produce.
The film is set at a high-society Halloween party in 1934 and centers on a woman named Honey, the gathering’s hostess whose husband was murdered the previous year. Honey re-creates the scenario in an attempt to solve the crime.
Eve was mostly recently seen in Chris Evans’ directorial debut Before We Go and will next be seen in Dirty Weekend opposite Matthew Broderick, and she just wrapped filming Criminal with Ryan Reynolds and Beyond Deceit with Al Pacino, Anthony Hopkins, and Josh Duhamel.
She is repped by CAA, Untitled Entertainment, and Independent Talent Group in the UK.
