The pic follows a mild-mannered man named Bob who, after a blow to his cranium, can hear the inner songs of every one he comes across. Many scribes have tried their hand at crafting Disney’s fantastical story, the most recent being Matthew Fogel, Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel.

Kristin Burr and Erin Westerman are overseeing the project for Walt Disney Pictures, while Lisa Zambri and Jake Weiner do the same for Contrafilm and Benderspink respectively.

Loeb most recently wrote and produced Tom Vaughan’s “So Undercover” and penned the script for Frank Coraci’s “Here Comes the Boom.” On the TV front, Loeb serves as executive producer on “Lowe Rollers”, “Murder in Manhattan” and “All In” (which he also wrote the pilot for). Next on his slate of writing gigs is “The Machine”, “The Leading Man” and Davis Entertainment’s “Protection.”
