Among the many, many…many announcements coming from Warner Bros. today, it looks like Amy Adams will be officially joining the cast of JUSTICE LEAGUE. The action/adventure project is set to drop sometime in 2017, with the sequel coming two years after that. Already on board are Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and Henry Cavill as Superman. Adams will be reprising her role of Lois Lane from Man of Steel and the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Between her two stints as Superman’s love interest, Adams has appeared in Spike Jonze’s Her and Andrew Levitas’s indie drama Lullaby. Next up, she’ll play painter Margaret Keane opposite Christoph Waltz in Tim Burton’s Big Eyes. Adams has also been cast in Lee Daniels’ Janis Joplin biopic Get It While You Can.
Adam is repped by WME and Brillstein Entertainment.
