The series centers on reporter Camille Preaker who, fresh from a brief stay at a psych hospital, is sent to her small hoemtown to cover the murders of two preteen girls where she is to reconnect with her estranged mother and half-sisters.
Marti Noxon, who adapted the pilot, will act as showrunner with Jean-Marc Vallee set to helm. Flynn will also serve as a writer on the series. Jason Blum will executive produce through his Blumhouse Productions banner with head of TV Jessica Rhoades overseeing. Also executive producing are Adams and Vallee. Vallee’s producing partner, Nathan Ross, will co-executive produce.
Adams will next be seen on the big screen in Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice, as well as this year’s Story Of Your Life with Jeremy Renner and Nocturnal Animals opposite Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Shannon.
