The dynamic duo is back together! Amy Poehler joins Tina Fey’s upcoming comedy THE NEST. The story follows two sisters who reunite for one last blow out after their parents decide to sell the family home. Poehler and Fey star as the sisters and will produce the project as well.
This marks the third time these funny ladies have teamed up following 2004’s “Mean Girls” and 2008’s “Baby Mama.” They also co-hosted the Golden Globes in 2013 and 2014. Poehler got her start on Saturday Night Live between 2001 and 2008 where she co-anchored “Weekend Update” with Fey and famously portrayed Hillary Clinton to Fey’s Sarah Palin. She currently stars in NBC’s “Parks and Recreation” and won a Golden Globe for her role as Leslie Knope in 2009.
“Pitch Perfect” director Jason Moore will helm the project which begins shooting in June.
Any time Tina and Amy pair up, you’re guaranteed a good time.
