Andrea Anders, known most notably for her role as Alex Garrett on NBC’s TV series “Joey,” has been cast in a recurring role on ABC’s MODERN FAMILY. Going into its sixth season, “Modern Family” is comedy series chronicling the lives of three very different but always funny families. Anders will play Kim, the wife of Steve Zahn’s character Ronnie, both of whom will play the not-so-friendly neighbors of the Dunphy familiy.
Anders is returning to TV having been in past programs such as “Guiding Light,” “Better Off Ted,” and “About a Boy.” Anders has also had a few movie roles, playing Brandy in Sean Anders’ “Sex Drive” and Heather opposite Nicole Kidman in Frank Oz’s “The Stepford Wives.” In addition to her new role in “Modern Family,” Anders will also have a role in Pamela Fryman’s comedy “Cuz-Bros.”
