Andy Garcia And Michael K. Williams Join Sony’s “Ghostbusters” Reboot

The franchise reboot is currently in the midst of production in Boston, with a tentatively scheduled release date of July 22, 2016. Feig’s directing, based off a he co-wrote with Katie Dippold.

Garcia most recently starred in the Jeremy Renner drama Kill the Messenger and lent his voice to 20th Century Fox’s animated comedy Rio 2. Williams, best known for his iconic roles on The Wire and Boardwalk Empire, also appeared in Kill the Messenger, as well as the Mark Wahlberg drama The Gambler and Paul Thomas Anderson’s Inherent Vice. He’ll next star opposite David Oyelowo and  Kate Mara in Paramount’s thriller Captive and alongside Richard Gere and Jena Malone in the drama Time Out Of Mind.
