Anne Hathaway is set to reprise her role in the big screen adaptation of George Brant‘s off Broadway play GROUNDED. The Oscar-winning actress earned critical acclaim for her performance in the solo play about a conflicted Air Force pilot who is in charge of operating an unmanned drone.
Brant is set to adapt the play which was directed by Julie Taymor. No word on whether or not Taymor will direct the film.
The Interstellar star will also produce the film alongside Sidney Kimmel Entertainment as well as Suzan Bymel and Ben Forkner of Entertainment 360.
Hathaway can be seen next reprising her role as the White Queen in the sequel Alice Through the Looking Glass. She also stars alongside Dan Stevens and Jason Sudeikis in the thriller Colossal.
She is repped by CAA.
