Anton Yelchin, Kelsey Grammer, and Ron Perlman have been set as the lead voices in the forthcoming TROLLHUNTERS at Netflix. The animated series comes from the fantastical mind of Guillermo del Toro and DreamWorks animation.
Yelchin will voice the character of Jim, a teenage boy who discovers a world below their hometown of suburban Arcadia where there is an ongoing battle between good and bad trolls. The result of which will impact their lives forever.
Grammer is set to play Blinky, a troll that Jim befriends while Perlman will pay the villainous Bular, who is out to get Jim.
Del Toro wrote the series alongside Marc Haimes and Tom Wheeler. Christina Steinberg and Marc Guggenheim will serve as executive producers while Dan Hageman and Kevin Hageman have boarded as co-executive producers. Chad Hammes is also set to produce.
Perlman is best known for his role in Sons of Anarchy and as the title character in the comic book pic Hellboy. He is currently starring in the Amazon series Hand of God and appears in the the upcoming Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. He is repped by Gersh, LINK Entertainment, Empire Agency, Danis, Panaro, Nist Talent, and Artist & Brand Management.
