Danny McBride, Tim Blake Nelson, Logan Marshall-Green, Ahna O’Reilly, Jim Parrack and Franco himself will all be featured in the William Faulkner adaptation about the death of Addie Bundren and her family’s quest and motivations to honor her wish to be buried in the town of Jefferson. It is unclear what role each actor will have in the film.
Vince Jolivette and Miles Levy will produce for Rabbit Bandini Productions.
Oscar-nominee Franco has previously collaborated with McBride on the comedy pic “Pineapple Express”. He received critical acclaim (and his Oscar nod) for his portrayal of Aron Ralston in “127 Hours”. He will next be seen in Sam Raimi’s “Oz: The Great And Powerful”.
“As I Lay Dying” is currently in pre-production.
