Aubrey Plaza, Oliver Platt and Jeff Goldblum have joined the cast of MORTDECAI alongside Johnny Depp, Gwyneth Paltrow, Ewan McGregor and Guy Burnet. The story follows an eccentric art dealer (Depp) who finds the code to a bank account full of Nazi gold. There’s no word on what specific roles Plaza, Platt or Goldblum will take in the comedy adventure.
Eric Aronson wrote the script that David Koepp (“Premium Rush”) will direct. Depp, Andrew Lazar and Christi Dembrowski will produce.
Plaza is best known for “Parks and Recreations” and will soon turn up in the horror comedy “Life After Beth.”
Platt will soon appear in “Kill The Messenger” and Jon Favreau’s “Chef.” Mr. Goldblum will soon delight us in Wes Anderson’s “The Grand Budapest Hotel.”
Plaza, Platt and Goldblum are repped by CAA, WME and ICM respectively.
