Austin Abrams and Beau Mirchoff have joined the cast of GRASS STAINS opposite Tye Sheridan and Kaitlyn Dever. The project revolves around a teen (Sheridan) who finds himself in trouble when a prank goes wrong, killing the older brother (Mirchoff) of his first love (Dever). Abrams will play Hunter Gorski, a scruffy 16-year-old and friend to Sheridan’s Conrad. Mirchoff will play the older brother.
Kyle Wilamowski wrote the script and will make his feature directorial debut. Matt Perniciaro, Kevin Mann, Rachel Miller, Steve Olivera and Michael Sherman will produce.
Abrams was last seen in another (excellent) coming-of-age story “The Kings of Summer.” He’ll be seen next in “Sacrifice.” Mirchoff was last seen in “I Am Number Four” and will next appear in “The Secret Lives of Dorks.”
Abrams and Mirchoff are repped by APA.
