Austin Abrams, Halston Sage, and Justice Smith have all joined the cast of PAPER TOWNS, the adaptation of John Green’s bestselling novel. The drama stars Nat Wolff and Cara Delevigne as Quentin and Margo, two friends who make a pact to take revenge on everyone who has hurt them until Margo disappears and Quentin is left alone to follow the clues she leaves behind. Abrams, Sage, and Smith will play Ben, Lacy, and Rader, Quentin’s friends who help him search for Margo. Jake Schreier is directing from a script penned by Michael H. Weber and Scott Neustadter, the duo who wrote the screenplay for Green’s latest big screen adaptation The Fault in Our Stars.
Abrams may be young but he’s got some big credits under his belt, including stints on Shameless and Silicon Valley. On the big screen, Abrams has appeared in Gangster Squad and dramedy The Kings of Summer. Next up, Abrams has been cast in drama/thriller The Greens Are Gone opposite Anton Yelchin and Maya Rudolph, as well as drama Sacrifice, starring Dermot Mulroney.
Sage is best known for her roles in Sofia Coppola’s The Bling Ring, and comedies Grown Ups 2 and Neighbors. Her upcoming projects include roles in Christopher Landon horror comedy Scouts vs. Zombies and the horror adaptation of Goosebumps.
Abrams is repped by APA and Industry Entertainment. Sage is repped by CAA and ROAR.
