Bella Heathcote Joins “Fifty Shades Darker” As Christian Grey’s Ex



has signed on for FIFTY SHADES DARKER, second installment in the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise based on the best-selling books by E.L. James. Heathcote will play Leila, a former lover of Christian Grey who bears the scars to prove it. She joins stars and Dakota Johnson, who return as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steel, as well as , who was recently cast as Elena Lincoln, Grey’s business partner and another of his former lovers. , and will also reprise their roles.

Fifty Shades Darker continues the taboo saga Grey and Steele. The first film ended with Steele leaving Grey to start a new , but in Darker, he presents her with an irresistible offer to win her back. will take over as director, replacing Sam Taylor-Johnson who had a notoriously rocky time on the first film. Heathcote is in theatres this weekend as Jane Bennet in Seth Grahame-Smith’s zombie-Jane Austen mash-up Pride And Prejudice And Zombies.
