Bill Block has scored a first-look production deal with Warner Bros. under his Billblock Media banner. The veteran producer has hit the ground running with the two-year deal and is developing World War 3 with Sam Raimi. The movie is based on the best-selling non-fiction book The Next 100 Years by George Friedman.
The production deal includes a multi-million dollar private development fund to acquire and develop projects with the potential for global distribution. The financier has also closed a multi-year agreement where he will act as the exclusive international sales agent for Red Granite International’s upcoming production slate outside of the Warner Bros.
Recently, Block produced Dirty Grandpa and Rock the Kasbah. His other titles include District 9, Fury with Brad Pitt as well as Elysium starring Matt Damon. He also produced Bad Moms starring starring Mila Kunis and Christina Applegate which will be released later this year.
