Bill Burr Becomes a “Pariah” at FX

is set to star in PARIAH, a comedy pilot on FX. The and project was co-created by “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia” writer/producers John and Dave Chernin. “Sunny’s” director Rob McElhenney will helm the new project, which centers on Joe Abbott, a difficult TV personality who is forced out of show business after an on air meltdown and is forced to figure out what to do now that he’s out of a and has no discernable skills.

Burr, an actor as well as a stand-up comedian, has appeared in films like “Date Night,” “The Heat,” “Zombeavers,” and “Walk of Shame.” He will also appear in the upcoming indie drama “Black and White” with Kevin Costner and Octavia Spencer. On the small screen, Burr is probably best known for his role as Huell’s ‘handler’ Kuby on “Breaking Bad,” as well as for his arc on the “Kroll Show.”
