Bill Paxton is currently in talks to join Daniel Radcliffe in the upcoming BBC Films biopic GRAND THEFT AUTO. The story will follow the lives of the creators of Rockstar Games, the company responsible for many successful video game franchises, including the Grand Theft Auto series. Radcliffe will play Sam Houser, the co-founder and president of the company. The movie will center in on the real life conflict between Houser and disbarred Miami lawyer Jack Thompson, who fought to have the game banned in the early 2000’s. Paxton is in talks to play Thompson.
Known for his roles in Titanic and Apollo 13, Paxton was recently seen in the thriller Nightcrawler starring Jake Gyllenhaal and is set to star in the crime drama Term Life.
