Billie Lourd, daughter of actress Carrie Fisher and Co-Chairman of CAA, Byron Lourd, will join the impressive cast of STAR WARS: EPISODE VII, directed by J.J. Abrams and starring, among others, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Harrison Ford, Lupita Nyong’o, Mark Hamill, Max Von Sydow, and of course, Fisher herself. Details about the plot are being kept tightly under wraps, so Lourd’s role in the film is still a mystery.
Though Lourd herself is making her film debut (not a bad start), her mother is a seasoned veteran of both stage and screen, most notably for her immortal portrayal of Princess Leia in the Star Wars saga. More recently, she’s made appearance across a multitude of genres, including horror thriller “Sorority Row,” and the classic animated comedy series “Family Guy.”
