Billy Bob Thornton is in talks to join ENTOURAGE alongside Adrian Grenier, Jeremy Piven, Jerry Ferrara, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon, Perrey Reeves, Blake Graves, Kirk Kelly and Carson Underwood. Continuing a few months after the series finale of the HBO show, the story follows Vince and his entourage as newly made studio head Ari Gold helps them figure out how to save Vince’s latest film from the clutches of its co-financier.
Thornton will play a billionaire cowboy-turned-film financier plunking money into the movie who sends his twenty-something son to keep an eye on things in Los Angeles. Doug Ellin is currently directing from a script he wrote.
Thornton was last seen in “Parkland” and will next appear in “The Judge” and “London Fields.”
He is repped by WME.
