Billy Ray Set for Ol’ Blue Eyes

Ray, who will rework a that has touches of Steve Zaillian and Phil Alden Robinson, has been extremely busy following his work in “The Hunger Games” with a handful of new projects including “The Thin Man” remake, the film adaptation of the TV series “24”, Sony’s planned re-imagining of “Neverland” and a handful of others in including the big budget video game adaptation “Gears of War” and the World Trade Center drama “102 Minutes”.

By stepping in to steer the famed story of Sinatra’s biopic, the project continues to make large strides toward becoming Scorsese’s next film after he wraps on “The Wolf of Wall Street”. Ray is said to be working very close with Scorsese to get a quick turnaround for the Universal.
