Brandon & Phillip Murphy To Adapt “Superior” From “Kingsman” Creator Mark Millar


Superior_CoverSUPERIOR, the comic book series by , is heading to the big screen. Fox picked up the project a couple years ago and have now brought on writing duo and to pen the script.

The comic follows an athletic 12-year-old boy who is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. In order to regain his strength, the boy is granted one wish from an alien monkey – to become Superior, his favorite superhero, but things go awry when he learns that the monkey is a demon and that he must sell his soul to keep his powers.

The comic was published by Icon Comics for seven issues from 2010 to 2012 and was illustrated by Leinil Francis Yu. and are set to produce.

This is the fourth series created by Millar to receive a big screen adaptation, with the first three being Wanted, Kick-Ass, and last year’s break out hit, Kingsman: The Secret Service. Vaughn wrote, produced, and directed both Kick-Ass and Kingsman and is currently writing Kingsman 2.

The Murphy team are currently attached to pen the features Transference and the adaptation of Exile On Main Street: A Season In Hell With The Rolling Stones.
