The Affair actor Brendan Fraser is returning to television to star opposite Max Irons and Mira Sorvino in CONDOR on AT&T Audience Network. The ten episodes series hails from MGM Television and Skydance TV.
The project is inspired by 1975 political thriller Three Days of the Condor and is written by Jason Smilovic and Todd Katzberg. It follows Irons as Joe Turner, a young CIA analyst whose idealism is tested when he stumbles onto a terrible but brilliant plan that threatens the lives of millions.
Fraser has been cast as Nathan Fowler, an unstable yet efficient central cog in an unholy alliance between the private military company that employs him and the CIA. He’s motivated by his hatred of radical Islam, but also by his inner child’s desire to win the approval of his war-hero father.
Fraser is best known for starring with Rachel Weisz in the Mummy series and more recently was seen in the third of The Affair on Showtime. He will next be seen in The Field and Behind the Curtain of Night.
He is repped by Gersh and Brillstein Entertainment.
