Brendan Gleeson, Rory Kinnear, and Sean Harris are all set to join Michael Fassbender in the gangster drama TRESPASS AGAINST US. The project centers on the Cutler family who have always lived like outlaws, but Mr. Cutler’s son Chad (Fassbender) wants nothing to do with a life of crime and is torn between loyalty to the family and what he knows to be right. Lyndsey Marshal and Killian Scott are also joining the cast.
Gleeson is best known for his dramatic roles in “Cold Mountain” and “Gangs of New York” but Harry Potter fans know him as the gruff one eyed wizard Mad Eye Moody in the latter “Harry Potter” films. Gleeson recently starred in the Irish drama “Calvary” with Chris O’Dowd and will next appear in the Marvin Gaye biopic “Sexual Healing” and the Ron Howard whaling drama “Heart of the Sea” with Chris Hemsworth and Michelle Fairley.
Kinnear has played a minor but important role in the last few Bond movies as Bill Tanner, M’s Chief of Staff. Did you know that his father, Roy Kinnear, played Mr. Salt in the original “Willy Wonka?” He currently appears in the Showtime horror series “Penny Dreadful” as The Creature and will next appear in the Alan Turing biopic “The Imitation Game” opposite Benedict Cumberbatch.
Harris appeared in the Showtime period drama “The Borgias” as henchman Micheletto and in Ridley Scott’s “Prometheus.” His upcoming projects include period drama “Serena” starring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence, as well as thriller “Deliver Us from Evil” with Eric Bana.
