Brie Larson has taken the female lead of Ma, in ROOM. The story follows a 5-year-old who grows up in an 11-by-11 shed he believes to be the whole world as his young mother has shielded him from the truth that they are captives. The boys world is shaken when this truth comes to light.
Lenny Abrahamson will be directing from a screenplay by Emma Donoghue who adapted the film from her book of the same name.
