British crime writer Ali Knight is out with her latest novel, THE SILENT ONES. Published by Hodder & Stoughton earlier this year, the thriller, said to be in the vein of The Silence of the Lambs, centers on a shy art student who seeks answers surrounding the death of his sister, thought to be a victim of a notorious serial killer.
The main character, Darren Evans, cons his way into a job at the psychiatric hospital at which accused murderer Olivia Duvall is being held, but soon finds that trying to outwit a serial killer is a dangerous game. Featuring a strong female lead and a sensational twist, the novel is currently being shopped to territories across the globe.
Knight is the author of four crime novels and is a freelance contributor to several newspapers and magazines, including The Daily Mail and The Guardian. She has also worked for The Observer, The European, and at the BBC World Service.
