Bruce Willis, Christopher Meloni and Dave Bautista have joined MARAUDERS, Steven C. Miller’s action thriller written by Michael Cody and Chris Sivertson. Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films will produce under their partnership with Lionsgate Premiere, with a bevy of producers involved, including Randy Emmett and George Furla, Joshua Harris and Rosie Charbonneau of 4th Wall Entertainment, and Tim Sullivan, Tony Callie and Ryan Black. Barry Brooker and Stan Wertlieb will oversee for Lionsgate.
The story centers around an FBI agent on the trail of bank robbers who inexplicably give their stolen money to charity. As the agent delves further into the investigation, he discovers a trail of secrets that the owner of the bank (Willis) has been keeping.
Lydia Hull, Tyler Olson, Christopher Bowen, and Danny A. Abeckaser round out the cast of the feature, which begins production later this month in Ohio.
Willis, who was recently replaced by Steve Carell in the next Woody Allen film due to his commitments the Broadway production of ‘Misery’, will next be seen in Barry Levinson’s upcoming Rock the Kasbah. Meloni is coming off a critically lauded performance in Netflix’s Wet Hot American Summer, while Bautista will make an appearance in the latest Bond film, Spectre.
