As E3 rolls along, some highly anticipated video games dropped details and new trailers for the the game-playing masses. One of the most popular franchises, Call of Duty gave a generous seven minute gameplay preview of the their latest installment, Infinite Warfare. Check out the preview for the first person shooter game below along with a round-up of others featured at the conference.
CALL OF DUTY: INFINITE WARFARE: Infinite Warfare is set in the distant future, after Earth has been stripped of its natural resources as a result of population growth and industrial expansion, prompting the nations of the world to unite together and form the United Nations Space Alliance (UNSA), a political organization that handles matters related to trade, travel, land claims and all efforts relating to human space colonization.
ATTACK ON TITAN: Based on on Hajime Isayama’s manga series of the same name.
DISHONORED 2: Fifteen years after the Dunwall Plague, the Empire begins to plunge into chaos after Empress Emily Kaldwin is suddenly dethroned by an “otherworldly usurper” and becomes an outlaw to society. Determined to claim it back, Emily follows in the steps of her royal protector and father, Corvo Attano, by becoming an assassin. Armed with the Outsider’s mark, she intends to reclaim her title and restore power to what has been lost.
THE ELDER SCROLLS: LEGENDS: The Elder Scrolls reveal the past, present and future of Tamriel. Told through the eyes of a moth priest named Kellen, The Elder Scrolls: Legends will allow you to change the course of Elder Scrolls history through its rich story-driven campaign and strategic card-based gameplay.
FARPOINT: Farpoint is an unnerving VR space adventure set on a hostile alien planet. On a mission to pick up scientists studying an anomaly near Jupiter, a rupture from the anomaly transports the player and scientists to an unknown alien world.
FOR HONOR: The Vikings are coming. Get ready for war.
HAWKEN: The game takes place in a dystopian human-colonized planet industrialized to the point of collapse, in which the hunt for resources has become a battle for survival.
LEGO WORLDS: In LEGO Worlds, players have the freedom to alter procedurally generated worlds and create anything they can imagine one brick at a time, or use prefabricated structures to customize their environments.
MASS EFFECT: ANDROMEDA: A whole new galaxy awaits for you to explore. Mass Effect: Andromeda pushes the boundaries of known space into the next generation, delivering distant star systems with remote and hostile planets ripe for discovery.
NIER: AUTOMATA: Invaders from another world attack without warning, unleashing a new type of threat: weapons known as “machine lifeforms.” In the face of this insurmountable threat, mankind is driven from Earth and takes refuge on the Moon. The Council of Humanity organizes a resistance of android soldiers in an effort to take back their planet. To break the deadlock, the Resistance deploys a new unit of android infantry: YoRHa. In the forsaken wasteland below, the war between the machines and the androids rages on.
PHANTOM DUST: In Earth’s far future, the surface has become a uninhabitable dust-ridden wasteland, forcing the remains of humanity to take shelter underground. Some humans are Espers, gifted with the ability to control the dust, allowing them to survive the surface for limited periods. All humans lack much of their memories with no records for how Earth has become this way, and so Espers are sent to the surface to find artifacts of the past and to seek out the fabled Ruins, the only shared memory all humans have.
