Cam Gigandet, Alexandra Breckenridge, Alex Ladove, and Astrid Bryan are the latest bunch to be cast in BROKEN VOWS. Wes Bentley and Jaimie Alexander star in the thriller, which follows a charming but troubled man, Patrick, who seduces Tara but when she rejects him, he becomes delusional and spirals into a psychotic rage. Gigandet will play Tara’s finace, while Ladove will play her younger sister who becomes a pawn in Patrick’s sinister plans. Breckenridge and Bryan have been cast as Tara’s best friends. The project marks the directorial debut of Belgian director Bram Coppens.
Gigandet is best known in the YA crowd for playing evil vampire James in the “Twilight” saga and as religious zealot Micah in Will Gluck’s “Easy A.” He also appeared as Kevin Volchok in a number of episodes of “The O.C.” Next up, Gigandet will star in action adaptation “Red Sky” with Shane West and Rachael Leigh Cook as well as drama “Making Change” with Steve Guttenberg.
Breckenridge is known for her roles in “Big Fat Liar” and “She’s the Man,” and for her small screen role as Kaylee/Young Moira in “American Horror Story.” She’s also set to appear in drama/thriller “Dark,” which takes place during the New York City blackout of 2003.
Ladove is a relative newcomer to the scene, having appeared previously in crime/comedy “Life of Crime.” Bryan, a newcomer to American cinema herself, is a model and actress who starred in the reality TV series “Astrid in Wonderland.”
Gigandet is repped by WME and Luber Roklin Entertainment. Breckenridge is repped by Gersh and Mosaic. Bryan is repped by Bureau Dany Peleman.
