Hulu’s Stephen King adaptation CASTLE ROCK is staging a Lost reunion with the addition of Terry O’Quinn to the cast.
Castle Rock is executive produced by Lost‘s JJ Abrams.
Sam Shaw & Dustin Thomason developed the project for television and serve as executive producers along with Abrams, Ben Stephenson and Liz Glotzer.
The series stars Andre Holland, Melanie Lynskey, Bill Skarsgård, with Jane Levy and Sissy Spacek and is described as a psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse. Castle Rock “combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland,” according to the official series description.
O’Quinn will play the role of Dale Lacy, a pillar of the community in the town of Castle Rock.
The actor and Abrams previously developed a potential drama for NBC called Odd Jobs with fellow Lost alum Michael Emerson. Abrams then went on to cast Emerson in CBS’ Person of Interest so the ties in the Lost family clearly runs long.
O’Quinn most recently starred in Amazon’s Patriot and on NBC’s The Blacklist: Redemption.
