Monthly wrap up reports on the spec market.

Logline: A self-assured choreographer is forced to perform community service in a neighborhood where children are into hip-hop music. The choreographer overcomes his initial reluctance when he finds that the kids are changing his life and enters them into the “Jump Off” citywide dance competition.

Logline: Venus Kincaid is a secret agent, bomb squad expert, pilot, diver and superhuman athlete. Until, that is, a mad scientist transforms her from a 30 year-old woman to a 12 year-old girl. Though she retains all her spy skills, mentally and physically Venus is 12 years old.

Logline: A happy couple with a seemingly perfect life has their daughter abducted. Over the course of a day, the kidnapper dismantles the family’s lives with brutal efficiency.

Logline: Daphne Wilder is a mother whose love knows no bounds or boundaries. As a single parent, she has raised three fantastic girls–klutzy, adorable Milly, stable psychologist Maggie and sexy and irreverent Mae–to become the kind of women any mom would die to have. The only problem is they’re about to strangle her.

Logline: A government agent uncovers a technology being used to genetically turn people into super-humans. Despite hating the power it brings, he is forced to become a superhuman agent in order to prove his innocence in a crime he didn’t commit.

Logline: A weak and nebbishy con man panics when he learns he’s going to prison for fraud. He hires a mysterious martial arts guru, who transforms him into a kung fu expert who can fight off inmates who want to hurt him–and love him.

Logline: About a squadron of soldiers on a mission to blow up a bridge to end World War II. Soon enough the soldiers realize that they are not only fighting the Nazis, but they are being hunted by Abandon, a spirit of the Devil.

Logline: On December 8, 1980 Mark David Chapman shocked the world by murdering the beloved purveyor of peace, 40-year old musician and activist, John Lennon, outside The Dakota, his New York apartment building.

Logline: The story explores the origins of Dracula and the uprising of the Belmont Clan, a vampire-slaying family who supposedly become humanity’s last hope.

Logline: An everyman gripes that the world would be better if people were more like him. He gets what he wishes for and discovers that more of him doesn’t make for a better world.

Logline: A successful but aloof dad on his second marriage is abandoned by his young, fed-up trophy wife. He’s left to raise his young kids on his own, occasionally relying on the guidance of his disaffected older offspring from his first failed marriage.

Logline: A first-time mother is so plagued by unexplained phenomena that she doubts her own sanity. When she returns to her Tennessee home, she fixates on the legend of the Bell Witch and becomes convinced the evil spirit is intent on harming her son.

Logline: A young man becomes an emergency medical technician in Harlem as a temporary stop before he enters medical school. There, he experiences a range of crises and stressful misadventures, including a mentor who has been numbed to the point that he makes a wrong decision in a life-and-death situation.

Logline: A woman picks up a homicidal hitchhiker, purposefully crashes her car and gets trapped with the killer.

Logline: After a man loses his infant daughter, he seeks the help of a therapist-turned-veterinarian to find meaning in his life and re-connect with his clinically depressed wife.

Logline: In a remote mountain tribe, the young hunter D’Leh has found his heart’s passion–the beautiful Evolet. But when a band of mysterious warlords raid his village and kidnap Evolet, D’Leh leads a small group of hunters to pursue the warlords to the end of the world to save her.

Logline: Two American salesmen try to break open their hot tub business to the Japanese market, but instead wind up embarrassing themselves every chance they get. They realize they will need to fully embrace Japan’s culture and business practices if they want to succeed, which becomes their new aim.

Logline: A guy takes a fake paternity leave to go climb Mt. Everest, but when his plan backfires he must continue the deception with an expectant single mother.

Logline: Four die-hard Star Wars fans drive across the country to fulfill a friend’s dying wish, a sneak peak of “Episode 1: Phantom Menace.”

Logline: Decorated war hero Sgt. Brandon King returns to his home town after a tour in Iraq. Trying to establish himself back at home the military calls him back for duty, throwing his life in disarray.
