Oversee development, some current and casting for Comedy and Adult Animation Series. Field pitches, identify trends, and help establish the strategic development goals for the department.

Looking for a Development Executive/producer to expand the Los Angeles office.

Serve as lead problem solver with TV studio and outside producers on all production issues from prep through production and post. Liaise with each network/cable/Streaming partner on all notes for scripts, outlines, and written materials.

Managing writers to develop treatments, scripts, and pitches. This includes developing existing and internal concepts into elevated Films and Series.

The ideal applicants have experience and relationships within the Animation industry, strong convictions about the future of Animation, and are scrappy, passionate, Creative, excited about trying things in new ways, and curious about a wide range of genres, mediums, and ways to build immersive new story worlds.

The CFO/COO will be instrumental in helping Aside Capital build from the ground up and their input will be taken into account as we grow.

Manage a team of producers, editors, and content managers. Develop growth and profitability of the video business.

Create a slate of Films across genres while growing MVE’s buyer relationship both in the US and abroad. Bring and build connections with the creative community to further grow MVE’s slate of Film and expand its roster of writers and directors.

Create series and/or movie budgets, schedules, achievements, and assumptions.

Review all development, specials, pilot and Series budgets when new projects are ordered.

Serve as a visionary leader for Aside Capital and delegate day to day operations to other team members.

Responsibilities: administrative tasks, reading, and providing notes on materials with opportunities to create idea lists and give feedback on IP and projects.

Applicants should have experience acquiring and developing IP, sourcing and supervising writers, developing first-class screenplays, as well as tracking and packaging valuable directors and actors.

Work closely with the President and VP to build and support a growing slate across Film and Television. Write coverage, outgoing submission letters, and notes on outlines, scripts, dailies, and cuts.

Collaborate with key creatives (producers, directors, writers) on development projects, taking initiative to move projects forward.

Oversee planning and production, from pre-production through final delivery. Work closely with production executives and Finance to establish schedule and budget for each production.

This position will report to the Film Production Lead and your responsibilities broadly include reviewing and vetting budgets and schedules, curating vendor and crew relations, and establishing best practices from pre-production through delivery.

Must have experience developing and selling projects, writing outlines, as well as constructing decks and sizzle reels.

Identify quality scripts, IP and emerging writers; develop feature and TV projects; have and build relationships with writers, managers, agents, executives, producers and talent.

Track and identify highly entertaining unscripted sports stories. Organize notes and creative feedback for producers and directors on outlines and cuts.

You will help develop and produce across a wide range of IP and content formats (e.g. Animation, live-action, puppets, audio content), for YouTube as well as all other major platforms such as Netflix, Amazon, Nickelodeon, Disney, WarnerMedia, PBS, Spotify, Sky, etc.

Find and pitch new IP to senior management with a Creative point of view and an eye towards marketplace viability and development path.

Work closely with a passionate team of seasoned executives to execute and build on a robust growing NA feature slate, based on Wattpad and WEBTOON’s most valuable IP.

Oversee a global production slate of original IP, reviewing scripts, treatments, outlines, production schedules, assets, Music, dailies and cuts and providing timely feedback.

Candidate must have comprehensive knowledge and experience working with top-tier talent as well as understanding of creators in other mediums including literary authors, Comic Book/Graphic Novel creators and video game developers.

Work with internal departments and development labels to build budgets and production plans for reality formats that are in development or greenlit (including schedules, detailed line by line budget, cash flow and overall approach to physical production)

Identify, curate and evaluate appropriate Content for exploitation across Theatrical and home media platforms.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in identifying source material/talent for the adult Animation audience, giving Creative guidance and feedback to top level show runners on outlines, scripts, animatics, character designs, casting, and cuts.

Candidates should have a mastery of screenplay analysis, strong knowledge of feature writers, directors and talent, and more.

Oversees all existing writer/development deals by providing creative feedback during the pitch/script development process. Responsible for creating a cohesive working environment between WB Television Production writers with development deals, and the networks.
