Mikael and Arthur formed a special bond, and after the race, Mikael and others worked tirelessly to get Arthur out of the country and back to his home in Sweden.

He then embarrassed the U.S. government when he did it again, this time from behind prison bars. What the imprisoned officer did was train his son in the ways of spycraft so he could continue to spy for Russia and even ferret out the mole that ratted out his father in the first place.
