A segmented selection of the BASED ON Selections from the IN DEVELOPMENT projects. This hub covers all In Development projects that are sequels, prequels, remakes or reboots of a pre-existing film or television series in the domestic or international market.

Logline: Meet Melvin, a skinny, weak, wimpy janitor at the local health club in a small town in New Jersey. He is teased and taunted by the beautiful men and women of the club until Melvin is exposed to chemical waste and becomes the Toxic Avenger, righter of wrongs, and foe to pollution!

Logline: Story centers on the youngest kid to be accepted into a program for geniuses who teams up with his roommates to unknowingly develop a high-powered laser for the military.

Logline: Recently released from juvenile detention, talented dancer Maria Ramirez finds an outlet for her passion with a new dance crew.

Logline: The whole gang returns to East Great Falls for their ten-year high school and remember the good times – only to be faced with the frightening realization that they’re no longer young teenagers.

Logline: Haunted by the memory of her deceased mother, Dana leaves Malibu behind and heads to South Africa to fulfill her mother’s dream of surfing Jeffery’s Bay.

Logline: A married couple think they have built the perfect life until the wife’s dark past is unveiled following the kidnapping of their 4-year-old daughter.

Logline: An American tourist visiting Italy to mend a broken heart is seduced by Elise, a beautiful woman who deliberately crosses his path, and becomes ensnared in an international plot involving Interpol and the Russian mafia who both mistake him for a criminal mastermind.

Logline: A contemporary take on the classic 1970’s TV series which centered on two female friends who grew up on the streets during difficult times.

Logline: The Autobots learn of a Cybertronian spacecraft hidden on the Moon, and race against the Decepticons to reach it and learn its secrets, which could turn the tide in the Transformers’ final battle.

Logline: Richard, a writer in need of inspiration, is bogged down in solitude, plagued by alcoholism, when he meets Jack, a mysterious, charismatic vagabond in need of work. Richard agrees to let Jack stay with him, and not before long, the two men engage in a dangerous game of manipulation and intimidation.

Logline: Spoiled, filthy rich Joanna Slayton falls overboard from her yacht, and is taken to a local hospital by Dean Profitt, a small town carpenter with loose morals. However, when she wakes up with amnesia, Profitt takes Joanna home, convincing her that she is his wife and the mother of his four young boys.

Logline: Story to be developed, but based on the 1950’s hit TV series that centered on the investigations of Stuart Bailey and Jeff Spencer, private detectives who operate out of plush offices at 77 Sunset Strip in Hollywood.

Logline: Pitched as a post-apocalyptic western, story centers on an orphan, who was raised and trained as an assassin, attempts to escape from his past, but is marked for death by the very same people he once considered his family.

Logline: Story centers on Lucie and Anna, orphans who grow up together, and establish a deep-knit friendship, until one of them inexplicably goes on a murderous rampage to avenge what may or may not have been earlier incidents of child abuse, only to discover that any horrors she had growing up, would never compare to those she was about to face.

Logline: The infamous Riddick has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless and finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he’s encountered. The only way off is for Riddick to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty.
