Charlie Hunnam and Margot Robbie are being eyed for THE MOUNTAIN BETWEEN US. Based on the book by Charles Martin, the romantic drama follows Ashley, who is flying home for her wedding when her plane crashes on a mountain. She and fellow survivor Ben must traverse the snowy slopes if they are to live another day. Hany Abu-Assad is directing from a script penned by Scott Frank and J. Mills Goodloe.
Hunnam is best known for his role as Jax Teller on the FX series “Sons of Anarchy” and for his feature roles in “Cold Mountain” and “Pacific Rim.” His upcoming projects include Guillermo del Toro’s “Crimson Peak” and will be returning for the seventh and final season of “Sons of Anarchy.”
Before her breakout role in Martin Scorsese’s “Wolf of Wall Street,” Robbie had roles on the TV series “Neighbours” and “Pan Am,” as well as Richard Curtis romantic drama “About Time.” Next up, Robbie will star in war drama “Suite Française,” David Yates’s “Tarzan,” and is in talks to star in Rupert Sanders’ adaptation of “Ghost in the Shell.”
