“Glee” star Chris Colfer is set to star in the untitled Noel Coward biopic. The project follows the early life and influences of the famous British playwright and producer of projects like “Easy Virtue” and “Private Lives.” Also in talks to join the project are Sir Ian McKellen, Vanessa Redgrave and Jonathan Pryce.
Colfer’s breakout role in Fox’s hit series “Glee,” winning a Golden Globe for his performance as Kurt Hummel. He recently starred alongside Rebel Wilson in dramedy “Struck by Lightning” where he starred as a student who blackmails his classmates into contributing to his literary magazine. He is currently lending his voice to animated comedy “Robocop” and will appear on the last season of “Glee.” He is also writing and producing “The Little Leftover Witch” for the Disney channel.
