Chris Pratt and Irrfan Khan are in very early talks to join JURASSIC WORLD, alongside Ty Simpkins, Bryce Dallas Howard and Nick Robinson. Pratt is being eyed to take the lead that had Josh Brolin circling until the deal fell through. Khan is also in talks for an undisclosed supported role.
Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (“Rise of the Planet of the Apes”) wrote the current draft that Colin Trevorrow (“Safety Not Guaranteed”) will direct. Producing will be Steven Spielberg and Frank Marshall.
Everyone knows Pratt as the lovable goof on “Parks and Recreation” but he’s been branching out to film in a BIG way as of late. He’ll soon appear in “Delivery Man”, “The Lego Movie” and Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy.” Khan played the grown-up version of Pi in “Life of Pi.”
Pratt and Khan are repped by CAA and Gersh respectively.
