Writer Chris Sparling has signed on to adapt Jo Nesbo’s crime thriller BLOOD ON SNOW. The story follows a hitman who must go on the run when he fails to kill his latest target, who happens to be his boss’ wife. Leonardo DiCaprio is attached to star in the project as well as produce.
Sparling previous credits include penning the Ryan Reynolds thriller “Buried” and horror/thriller “ATM” which also involved people fighting for their lives in an enclosed space. His next projects include writing Gus Van Sant’s drama “Sea of Trees” and his two feature directorial debuts with horror film “The Atticus Institute” and supernatural drama “Falling Slowly.”
