Aaron Sorkin has confirmed that Christian Bale will star in STEVE JOBS. Sorkin penned the script for the biopic, which centers on the Apple visionary and co-founder. According to Sorkin, the film will be divided into three long scenes, which take place behind the scenes before one of Apple’s product launches. Slumdog Millionaire‘s Danny Boyle is on board to direct.
Bale is known for being able to transform himself physically for difficult roles after shedding 62 pounds for his role in The Machinist and gaining 40 pounds to star in David O. Russell’s American Hustle. Of course, he also changed his voice while playing Batman in The Dark Knight franchise, too. His upcoming projects find him playing Moses in Exodus: Gods and Kings and lending his vocal skills to Andy Serkis’ Jungle Book: Origins.
Bale is repped by WME.
