Christina Applegate is in talks to star alongside Ed Helms in the VACATION reboot.
The film centers on an adult Rusty Griswold (Helms) as he follows in the footsteps of his father by taking his family on a summer vacation of their own. Applegate would play his wife, who seems to losing the romantic flame they once had.
David Dobkin and Jeff Kleeman will produce.
The “Married… With Children” star last starred in the 2011 comedy “Hall Pass”. She is currently in production on “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues”.
Applegate is repped by CAA.
