GOOD GIRLS go bad in the first trailer for NBC’s new midseason drama starring Christina Hendricks, Retta and Mae Whitman.
The three actresses play three suburban “good girl” wives and mothers who have had enough when their money runs out and their home lives are on the precipice of catastrophe and decide to rob a grocery store.
It goes even better than expected and they think nothing of the fact that they somehow end up with more than the usual $30,000 that’s kept in the store’s vault, until some real bad guys show up and want their money back.
The series recast one of its leads between the pilot and the series pickup, with Hendricks replacing Kathleen Rose Perks in the role of Beth, a frazzled mother and the ringleader of the group.
Jenna Bans is the creator, writer and showrunner.
Good Girls premieres Monday, February 26 at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
It is one of only two new shows set to premiere in midseason for NBC. The other is musical drama Rise from Friday Night Lights creator Jason Katimes.
