Christopher Cosmos has been tapped to write a new script for RED SONJA. The project is a remake of the 1985 film Red Sonja directed by Richard Fleischer, which was based on the character Red Sonja from the comic book “Conan The Barbarian” created by Roy Thomas and Barry Smith. Long-in-development at Nu Image/Millennium Films, the project once has Robert Rodriguez and Doug Aarniokoski attached.
Cosmos, formerly an assistant at Benderspink, sold his first script, the post-apocalyptic thriller The Fall, to QED in 2012. He is also in development with his former employers on Scouts and Raiders, an action project. He is also working on Langley High, about a high school student who teams up with his undercover CIA agent teacher to help his dad.
