Christopher Lambert has signed on for the Coen brother’s HAIL,CAESAR. The comedy centers on a fixer working for the Hollywood studios in the 1950s who takes the case of a stars mysterious disappearance. Lambert will play Arne Slessum, a European filmmaker whose affair with a Hollywood starlet makes trouble for the studio. He joins the all-star cast, which includes George Clooney, Frances McDormand, Scarlett Johansson, Jonah Hill, Ralph Fiennes, and Channing Tatum, just to name a few.
Lambert is best known for his roles in cult classics like Highlander, Lord of the Apes, and Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan. More recently, he has appeared in Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance and will next appear in the TV miniseries Mata Hari.
