Christopher Nolan is in talks with Paramount and Warner Bros. to direct their Sci-Fi pic INTERSTELLAR.
Written by his brother Jonathan and based on theories conceived by Kip Thorne, the film follows a group of explorers as they enter a wormhole and end up in another dimension. The project, which has been in development for some time, originally had Steven Spielberg attached to direct.
If he joins the project, Nolan would produce with Lynda Obst and Emma Thomas.
Having finished his “Dark Knight” trilogy, Nolan currently has two directing efforts in development- An adaptation of Doug Miers’ comic book “The Exec” and the crime drama “Vidocq Society”.
He is repped by WME.
