Christopher Plummer has stepped up to fill the vacuum left by Michael Caine departing IMAGINE. He left for scheduling reasons which is hollywoodese that could substitute for anything, or it could be just that. The project centers on a sixty-something Bruce Springsteen-type rocker, who discovers a long-unopened letter addressed to him from John Lennon that inspires him to change his life. Plummer will join a cast already consisting of Al Pacino, Jennifer Garner, Annette Bening and Bobby Cannavale.
Dan Fogelman is set to make his directorial debut from his own script. Denise Di Novi, Jessie Nelson and Nimitt Mankad will produce.
Plummer last live action role was David Fincher’s “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” and we’ll next see him in “Elsa & Fred.”
He is repped by ICM.
