Saturday Night Live head writers Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider have received a pilot order from Comedy Central for their UNTITLED SIBLING COMEDY. Kelly will direct the pilot and the pair will executive produce with Lorne Michael and Andrew Singer.
The half-hour centers on two struggling siblings who are forced to reevaluate their lives when their much young 12-year-old brother becomes instantly famous without trying.
Michaels’ Broadway Video, where the project is set up, also saw the premiere of Detroiters on the network last month.
Kelly and Schneider were made co-head writers of Saturday Night Live at the start of the season, having been on the writing staff since 2011. They have contributed to some of the variety show’s most popular segments in recent years including “Hometown Tourism Ad” and “Back Home Baller”.
