Comic-Con Sets Panels For Luc Besson Sci-Fi Epic “Valerian”, “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”, and “Kong: Skull Island”

As Comic-Con nears, fanboys and fangirls are on high alert about events and panels headed to San Diego. The most recent additions include Luc Besson’s sci-fi epic VALERIAN starring Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne and the Warner Bros. forthcoming KONG: SKULL ISLAND. In addition, AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. is joining Luke Cage for the presentations of Marvel’s TV slate.

Lucy director Besson is set to take the big stage at Hall H to show exclusive footage of his upcoming pic Valerian at 1 p.m. on July 21. Stars DeHaan and Delevingne will also be present for the 3D epic based on the 1967 French graphic novel series by Pierre Christin and Jean-Claude Mezieres. The movie will be released July 21, 2017, exactly one year after the panel.

Tom Hiddleston will return to Comic-Con’s high-profile Hall H for the Warner Bros. presentation of Kong: Skull Island. Hiddleston is a convention favorite as Loki from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This time, he will attend as Captain James Conrad for the monstrous primate blockbuster. Directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, the movie also stars John Goodman, Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson or John C. Reilly. No word yet on whether or not Hiddleston’s co-stars will be attending.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will give a preview of their fourth season at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 22 in Ballroom 20 with Clark Gregg, Chloe Bennet, Ming-Na Wen, Elizabeth Henstridge, Iain de Caestecker, Henry Simmons and executive Jed Whedon, Maurissa Tancharoen, Jeff Bell and Jeph Loeb.
