Corey Stoll, Jeannie Berlin, and Ken Stott are the latest additions to the cast of Woody Allen’s next movie, currently known as UNTITLED WOODY ALLEN PROJECT. They join Blake Lively, Kristen Stewart, Jesse Eisenberg, Bruce Willis, and Parker Posey, who was announced in July.
As with any Woody Allen project, the plot details are being kept under wraps. It is set to begin shooting in New York and Los Angeles this month. This is will mark the first time Allen has filmed in L.A. since 1977’s Annie Hall and also a return to his New York roots, as his latest films have opted for international destinations, Rhode Island, and San Francisco.
Stoll was recently seen as the villain in Marvel’s Ant-Man and currently stars on FX’s The Strain. Berlin was nominated for an Oscar for her turn in 1972’s The Heartbreak Kid and appeared in Paul Thomas Anderson’s Inherent Vice. Stott, best known for his work in the Hobbit films, will appear in the upcoming War and Peace miniseries alongside Lily James and Paul Dano.
Allen’s latest film, Irrational Man, starred Emma Stone and Joaquin Phoenix and was released by Sony Pictures Classic in July.
