Cory Michael Smith has joined the drama CAROL.
Based on Patricia Highsmith’s novel “The Price of Salt”, the film centers on a lonely department store employee who befriends a housewife in the middle of a divorce, prompting the two to set out across the country while being pursued by a private investigator hired by a jealous ex-husband. Smith will play a charming salesman who meets the traveling ladies (played by Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara).
Elizabeth Karlsen, Tessa Ross and Stephen Woolley will produce.
Smith is repped by Paradigm and starred alongside Kristen Stewart in “Camp X-Ray.”
