Coming of age comedy GOOD KIDS adds Zoey Deutch, Craig Roberts and Israel Broussard to its cast. They join Jane Levy and Nicholas Braun in the story of four overachievers who set out to reinvent themselves the summer after they graduate high school. The original spec script was penned by Chris McCoy and appeared on the 2011 Black List. McCoy will also make his directorial debut with the project.
Deutch is known for her roles as Emily Asher in “Beautiful Creatures” and as Rose Hathaway in the bloodsucking comedy “Vampire Academy.” Roberts is most well known for his lead role in the indie comedy “Submarine” but has recently also appeared in “The Double” with Jesse Eisenberg and Nicholas Stoller’s “Neighbors.” His upcoming projects include “Kill Your Friends” and his directorial debut with “Just Jim,” which he also wrote and will star in. Broussard is the newcomer of the group, having appeared in minor roles in Sofia Coppola’s “The Bling Ring” and Stephen Herek’s “The Chaperone.” He will next appear in the thriller “H8RZ Haters.”
Deutch is repped by Innovative Artists and Gilbertson Entertainment, Roberts is with Curtis Brown Group, WME, and Brillstein Entertainment. Broussard is repped by Paradigm and Underground Entertainment.
